Chapter 3 - The Duke

"I was once a Duke, many years ago." - He starts his story.
"I was very young and my brother envied my position. That said, because of political persecution I had to flee." - He looks like he's leaving a few things out, but I want to see where this goes. So I let him continue. "I had to take refuge in any place I could avoid being recognized and killed, the first thing I knew for sure is that I had to go away some place new, where no one would know me." He says while we walk to the gazebo in the garden.
"As much as I tried to run, my brother's men were many and I got caught and imprisoned." He pauses for a moment seeming to relive a painful memory. "With help from other prisoners, I found a way to travel in a foreign ship by working with the crew. I was inexperienced but the captain liked my eagerness to learn. But the ship was caught in a storm and the men got lost in the sea. I was lucky enough to find a piece of the wreckage and ended up in the Island we are now." - He reveals knowingly, I know now we're in an island. So an escape attempt would be even more difficult.
"I was stranded in some uninhabited part of the Island and it was difficult to survive." He continues.
"I spent 10 years of my life living alone learning how to pull through using whatever nature had to offer." He says while holding the rail.
But this is when the story gets really weird. And that's what no amount of therapy in the world could ever prepare someone for.

"On a cold night, I was hidden in a cave"
